About this listing

Welcome to Casa Lanui, one of the most unique luxury homes in Costa Rica.  This brand new five-star villa has over 9,340 square foot (867m2) of construction and is situated in a private 1.6-acre (6500m2) property fronting the beautiful beach of Santa Teresa.
Casa stands for “home” in Spanish and Lanui for “holiday” in Hawaiian and we guarantee you exactly this: a holiday of a lifetime.
The villa design is modern, classy, hippy chic and will make you feel at home away from home.
Casa Lanui is located on the northern, most exclusive part of Santa Teresa and provides direct access to the white-sand beach. All along the location of this beachfront villa, surfers can find the most consistent waves of Costa Rica.

This 7 bedroom, 7 1/2-bathroom villa comfortably accommodates big families or a group of friends in a unique, private and safe location.
Casa Lanui is located within North Creek Estate, on the same property as Casa Taman (4 bedroom 4 ½ bath). Both houses can be rented separately or together for a large group, sleeping up to 28 guests combined.

Casa Lanui features 3 master bedrooms with breathtaking ocean views, 1 master bedroom with garden view as well as two children’s bedrooms, each one with two bunk beds,, sleeping 8 in total. For accompanying staff (assistant, babysitter, chef…) or those who prefer more privacy, there is also separate studio with a king-size bed, full bathroom and kitchenette.
The spacious living area can be opened completely towards the pool, deck and the ocean beyond. Inside you will find a big kitchen and prep kitchen, fully equipped, with ample seating at the kitchen island and at a console style table for 8-10. The dining area includes an 18-foot long dining table that will comfortably sit 20 people. Guests can relax in a large, cozy lounge area with a 60” television, and the ocean view in the background.
In front of the living room you can enjoy the infinity edge pool with a beach sloped access, surrounded by terraces with several lounge chairs for your tanning and leisure activities.
There is an outdoor patio with a massage, yoga and workout area. Two massage tables are available; one is set up on the patio, the other can be set up wherever the guest wants, including in front of the beach.

Between the house and the beach there is a naturally shaded, spacious, open area to hang out with lounge chairs and hammocks. Guests can enjoy a cocktail or dinner with an amazing view of the tropical sunset at the large dining table that is located close to the beach.

The beach in front of the North Creek Estate is absolutely stunning with pristine sand that goes on forever. In the shade of numerous trees you can relax in full privacy while watching some fantastic, consistent surf.

HOTEL HACIENDA GUACHIPELIN HIKE TO LAS PAILAS TRAIL

The Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin Hike to Las Pailas Trail is a 3-hour activity. The trails showcase the power of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, one of Guanacaste’s largest and most active volcano. On this 3,5km guided walk, adventurers can enjoy stunning views of the volcano, the surrounding forest, any volcanic activity and wildlife. With more than 300 species of birds and wildlife, adventurers have an opportunity to see armadillos, iguanas, white-faced and howler monkeys. A private hike option of this tour is also available.

Rincón de La Vieja

Rincon de la Vieja National Park offers a heady mix of rolling green hills, gushing waterfalls and lush forests. The park attracts travellers year-round who come to explore its hot springs, bubbling muds and picture-perfect waterfalls.

Rincon de la Vieja means “The Old Woman’s Corner” and was named after a local legend, which tells of a girl’s lover who was thrown into the volcano by her father. It’s said the woman became a recluse and developed healing powers, living out her days on the slopes of Rincon de la Vieja.
